Here is how to Feng Shui Your Home on a Low Budget

Energy Flow
Feng Shui is all about the energy that flows freely, always replenishing your home with the new and the fresh one. In order to help it flow and make sure it doesn’t have any blockage on its way, you should look at your home and check if you see some obstacles when you try to move through it. You should not be bumping into furniture and you should be allowed to move freely. That is how your energy is about to move as well. The attic needs to be clear of clutter because that will lay some weight on your head, same as the basement needs to be free of clutter so that the energy can go through the home easily. Don’t place anything behind the doors as they need to be able to open up freely without bumping into the stuff.

Details around the Home
Jade is always a good idea when decorating according to Feng Shui. Everything that is made from jade is a great thing for your home as it attracts good energy. On the other hands, the details that are pointy, sharp or ‘dangerously looking’ are not welcome in your home. They are disrupting the energy flow and make it hard and aggressive. You are better off that kind of art and decorations as it is not for homes. Mirrors have no place in your bedroom. They can be close to the stove to double the number of flames from your stove as that symbolizes money. On the other hand, if you have bad neighbors, put the mirror facing their home so that it can block the bad energy coming from their side and reflect it back there.

Throwing Things Out
This may sound a bit odd, but the big part of Feng Shui is making sure that there is not residue of the stale and old energy and that the new and the fresh one may enter your home. Therefore, for a quick cleaning practice, take a trash bag and walk around your home and throw out 27 things that you are not actually using and which take up space with no reason at all. All the trash that you bring out should be through the back door and not through the front door. Symbolically, that is the way the things and energy flow – from the front to the back and throwing thrash through the front interferes with this practice. To ensure that you earn more and more money, clean up your wallet from time to time as well. Don’t let it get piled up with papers that you don’t really need.

General Atmosphere
More importantly than any Feng Shui rule is that you feel good in your home. This means that you will definitely feel if everything is all right and you will definitely know if there is some sort of energy disturbance going on if you pay some attention. Make yourself comfortable, use pastel colors in your home, bring in a comfy chair and use cheerful cushions. Also, make sure that you have a lovely rug that bring the whole room together and feel cozy underneath your feet.
Besides these things, you can use scented candles and sticks to create amazing general feeling in your home as well as some soothing music in the background. All these things will make your home a true oasis of peace and tranquility that help you prosper in life more easily and effortlessly. Therefore, enjoy the power of Feng Shui without spending more than spare change you have in your pockets.
