What are the effects of spray foam to humans in regards to health issues. Foams of the past were known to cause cancer due to formaldehyde and other chemical components. Where can I find non biased information on this subject. I value Mike’s expertise as a proper contractor.
I live in Louisville KY. How do I find someone to install this foam ?
One big reason we had spray foam insulation applied when we remodeled our basement, was to keep the mice out. If the mice have an established entry point…..in other words, they borrowed right through it. I recently saw a small pile of chewed up foam pieces on the outside corner of my house.
Like this. But what I am wondering and do not see mentioned is outgassing. How long does it do so? All mentioned sounds great, but if flame retardants and other odors are leaking into living area, I would want to know before I spray my house with something that cant be removed.
Any thoughts??
